| Course Location and Accommodations |
French Quarter Inn at Market
Square, right
in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina,
just steps from almost anything you might want to do or see during your
stay.
We have arranged for beautiful accommodations at the French Quarter Inn at a
special rate of $159/night. This price includes continental breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese reception every day, freshly baked cookies and
milk in the evenings, and complimentary beverages 24 hours per day. Please add 12.5% to the above
rates, per room per night, for state and local accommodation taxes and
service charges.
These rooms are only blocked for the nights of January
17-19, 2010. If you
want to arrive on an earlier date or depart on a later date, you will need
to arrange that with the French Quarter Inn or other nearby hotel. The
number of rooms reserved at this special price is limited.
If you want to take advantage of this special rate,
you will need to contact the French Quarter Inn by December 18, 2009
and ask for the LXR course rate.
After December 18, 2009 rooms will be released back into the
hotel inventory for sale to the general public at the standard rate. Contact the French Quarter Inn toll free at
866-812-1900 or 843-722-1900 to reserve a room.
Please NOTE that there is a 21-day room
cancellation policy at the French Quarter Inn. If a room is cancelled within
21 days
of arrival the hotel reserves the right to charge room and tax for the
number of nights cancelled.
Charleston is a "walking city", no car is necessary
(parking is limited and expensive), and unless you
absolutely need a car, we recommend that you take a taxi to and from the
airport and enjoy Charleston on foot.
The nearest airport is Charleston International Airport (CHS), approximately
20 miles north of the city.
Don't forget to watch the video tour of the French Quarter Inn at their website: http://fqicharleston.com/
Charleston boasts a wide variety of accommodations to suit
every requirement and budget. Should the French Quarter Inn not meet your
requirements, we recommend checking hotels.com or orbitz.com for other
choices and availability. Often, hotels advertised on hotels.com and
orbitz.com will let you book directly with them at the advertised online
rate. Booking directly with the hotel will allow you to cancel your
reservation (within the hotel's guidelines) should you need to, versus
online bookings which typically require payment up front, with no
cancellations. If you have any problems making a reservation, please send an
email to training@lxr.com.
|
