Issue: I've selected a graphic and want to drag
it to a new location, but am unable to.
Response: Ensure that the "Drag-and-drop" text
editing feature is selected under Preferences. Dragging floating graphics requires
holding the ALT key while dragging the graphic.
Issue: I lose my selected questions once I close
the bank!
Response: In 6.0, you can save you selected questions
using the "Save Selection" option found in the Select menu, when the bank is the
active window. When you later reopen the bank, you would use the "Recall Selection"
option found in the Select menu. This will restore your previous question selection.
Issue: I highlighted the questions to choose from
in the left panel of the Tests Window. I then entered a number in the "Pick" box
in the Tests Window, but when I went to randomly pick questions I got all my highlighted
questions moved to the test!
Response: Make sure you click the "Pick" button
after you enter a number in the Pick box. You must have clicked the "Move" button
by mistake!
Issue: Why is my instruction item printed at the
bottom of the page and the linked question printed on the next page?
Response: Ensure that the "Widow" status is set
for the instruction question. This status will ensure that the instruction is not
the last item printed on the page and therefore print on the same page as the linked
question.
Issue: After reading in my OMR forms, I clicked
"Score Test", but all my scores are still zero points!
Response: You need the test file open in order
to score a test.
Issue: I have my test file open and I clicked "Score
Test", but I don't get a letter grade!
Response: In order to receive a letter grade when
scoring a test, you need to have a "Grading Table" open.
Issue: I've converted a 5.x bank to 6.0 format
and some of my graphics seem to be placed in different locations than originally
within my questions.
Response: Due to the different text engines employed
in 5.x versions and 6.0, graphic placement may vary between questions of a 5.x bank
and a converted (6.0) bank. You may need to manually make some graphic placement
adjustments after the conversion process has completed.
Issue: I set a system level security password on
a database, but I forgot the password.
Response: Sorry, nothing can be done.
