How Do I?
How Do I Run LXRTEST Web Server Extensions on a Windows Server 2008 64-bit
Machine Using IIS 7.0?
The LXRTEST Web application (LXRWeb) is a 32-bit Classic ASP application. In order
to run it on a 64 bit machine you will need to create a 32 bit application pool
to run it against. The information below provides instructions on how to do this.
These instructions assume you have already installed the LXRTEST Web Server Extensions.
First go to the Administrative Tools menu and select Internet Information Services
(IIS) Manager. This will launch IIS 7. If you are not running IIS7 then these instructions
will not apply.
Select Application Pools.
Select the Add Application Pool… action.
Set the fields as follows (you can use any name that works for you) then click OK.
Select the application pool you just added.
Select the Advanced Settings… action.
Set the Enable 32-bit applications setting to True then click OK.
Select the LXRWeb application
Selected the Advanced Settings… action.
Change the Application Pool to the new pool reference you just added then click
OK.
