How Do I?
Using the Paste Special Command
Edit Menu
Paste Special
Paste Special will allow you more control over the format you want to use when inserting
content that has been copied onto the Windows Clipboard. Paste Special should be
used (instead of Paste) when you have copied multimedia content (such as graphics
and text) onto the Windows Clipboard. This command offers you the possible formats
the information can be inserted into the question.
For example, a drawing and text are selected (from an outside drawing application)
and copied onto the Windows Clipboard. Since we want both the drawing and text to
be pasted into the question, we choose "Paste Special" from the Edit menu. In this
instance, we are given three options of how to insert the Clipboard information:
Note: If either Picture or DIB Bitmap were chosen
in this example, the drawing and text would be inserted into the LXR*TEST question
as an inline formatted graphic.
