How Do I?

LXR*TEST 6.0.11 is the current 6.0 release and will be the last 6.0 release. If
you are running a 6.0 version older than 6.0.11 and would like to update to 6.0.11,
please contact
for instructions.

Updating from LXR*TEST 6.1 TRIAL version to LXR*TEST 6.1 purchase
version:
- Using the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs option, uninstall LXR*TEST 6.1
- Reinstall from latest LXR*TEST 6.1 CD.
- Enter purchased software key when prompted.
Note: While the data files you created with the
trial copy will not be removed during the uninstall process, you may want to keep
a backup copy for your own archival purposes.
Steps for updating your LXR*TEST program via the Internet
(only valid if updating from 6.1.1 or higher release AND subscribed to Annual Software
Maintenance) :
- Make sure the LXR*TEST program is closed.
- Click on the Start button.
- Navigate to Programs > LXRTEST 6.1
- Click on the LXRTEST Update via Internet icon. You will be prompted to enter your
6 digit serial number.
- Don't forget to update the Student option on student computers if you administer
LAN tests and the Web option on the web server if you administer Web tests.
- If an update was found, proceed with the update wizard program.

updating via the internet, please contact
