How Best to Use LXR*TEST in a Server Environment
Question: I have purchased a server license. I
want to install LXR*TEST 6.0 on a server and be able to access the program from
a remote workstation. How do I set up the remote workstation to accommodate this?
Response: You will need to do a minimal installation
of LXR*TEST on the remote workstation so that the program places the necessary registry
entries on the workstation and installs essential system components. To do this:
Run the LXR*TEST installer from the CD. You will need to enter
your software key. Choose to do a Custom Installation. Ensure that at least the
"Required Components: System" is selected. (You may disable installing other files.)
Proceed with the Installation.
