LXR*TEST 6.1 Price List (U.S.)
LXR*TEST 6.1 is licensed on a per person basis and a user fee is required for each
user. The first licensed user is referred to as the Primary User. Additional persons
(referred to as Secondary Users) may be licensed at the same location at a substantial
discount; however, secondary users are subject to certain limitations (e.g. they
are not eligible for direct support or direct software upgrades.) For specific licensing
information, refer to the
End User License Agreement
(EULA).
If the software or databases are used on a server, an additional server fee is required
for each server. Generally, there are no additional fees for students to "take"
a test on a server. However, if the test is "packaged" with student run-time software
and distributed to remote computers (e.g. on disk or by e-mail), a distribution
fee may apply.

Primary User Fees
The user fee for the first user, for all components is $3,600. A "user" in this
context is a single named person who may operate the LXR*TEST software. For example,
a test author, bank administrator, or instructor. A student who only takes a test
is not considered a user.

Additional (Secondary) User Fees
Additional, secondary user(s), directly affiliated with the primary user’s organization
and installed on computers owned or operated by licensee’s employees or contractors
for the benefit of licensee, are entitled to the use of the same software as the
primary user at discounted prices with certain restrictions. Secondary users are
not eligible for warranty support or upgrades (except as ordered by the primary
user). Each person eligible to use the LXR*TEST 6.1 software must be licensed and
named regardless of whether the use is routine or intermittent. Only the primary
user receives a serial number and is eligible for warranty support, however, secondary
users may purchase a support subscription and/or per incident support.

Server Fees
A server fee is required in order to place any software component or database on
a server. The server fee accommodates delivery for any number of on-line tests (LAN
and web) on one specific server. There is no "per examinee" or "per student" fee
for those taking online exams.

LXR*TEST is pre-configured to support most standard optical mark reader forms--including
forms purchased from LXR. Additional, custom forms may require special programming

LXR*TEST includes 90 days of warranty support to the primary, registered user from

support charge will be credited if the incident is either unresolved or was stimulated
